Berkeley Consortium for Data Analytics in Risk (CDAR). Robert Eccles and Dan Hanson will kick off a discussion on "Impact Investing" and "What’s New--Measurement and Metrics":
- Impact Investing/SI/ESG/RI/SRI: Definitional views and what they do (or perhaps don’t) mean
- Implementation and relevance: distinctions by asset class
- Measurement: Evolving approaches to defining impact
- Pragmatic vs Ideological perspectives
Bob is a former professor at Harvard Business School, founding chairman of SASB and one of the founders of the International Integrating Reporting Council. He is currently Chairman of Arabesque Partners. Dan is managing partner at Jarislowsky Fraser, and prior to that was a managing director and portfolio manager at BlackRock. He also teaches at U.C. Berkeley’s Haas Business School. Jim Hawley will moderate. He is Professor at Saint Mary’s, and Head, ESG Research at TruValue Labs. The event is free, RSVP required.
